What can focus the mind better than a “written-in-stone” deadline? How about if years of work by dozens of people are on the line? JGS Lifecare (JGS) was making their application for Magnet Recognition to the American Nurses Credentialing Center — the culmination of a multi-year process.
They needed to include detailed written documentation of nursing leadership practices as part of their application process. JGS wanted the look of the documentation to reflect their nursing professionalism, so they turned to Guy With Glasses.
I worked closely with JGS’s chief operating officer/chief nursing officer and a freelance writer/editor to ensure the success of the project. Three volumes of documentation totaling 915 pages were designed and produced as finished books in 9 weeks. Whew!
